Partner and Head of Family Law
Carla Fraser is an experienced family law solicitor with more than 12 years’ practice in all aspects of relationship breakdown, children’s matters and complex matrimonial finance. She joins Allsopp Campbell Rainey as Partner and Head of Family Law, bringing a reputation for calm, pragmatic guidance and a deeply client-centred approach.
Carla qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and has specialised in family law ever since. She previously led the Family and Matrimonial Department at a prominent Northern Ireland firm, advising on high-value divorce, financial settlements, and sensitive public and private law children’s cases.
As a long-standing member of the Children (Northern Ireland) Order Panel, she has acted in landmark matters involving residence, contact, and safeguarding issues.
Her practice ranges from divorce, separation agreements and ancillary relief proceedings through to complex cases involving pensions, business interests, property portfolios and high or ultra-high net worth clients.
Whether negotiating an amicable financial settlement or navigating contested court proceedings, Carla’s focus remains the same: providing clarity, structure and reassurance during times of profound stress.
Carla is known for her ability to balance legal precision with empathy. Clients often come to her at their most vulnerable, and she is recognised for offering both honest advice and compassionate support – ensuring they feel heard, protected and able to move forward with dignity.
Alongside her practice, Carla has contributed to legal education as a guest lecturer in Family Law at Queen’s University Belfast and Ulster University.
At Allsopp Campbell Rainey, she leads a growing Family Law department dedicated to delivering practical, solutions-focused advice and outcomes for clients.
