Allsopp Campbell Rainey has strengthened its growing practice with the appointment of Carla Fraser as Partner and Head of Family Law, marking a significant expansion of the firm’s family law capabilities.

Carla brings more than a decade of specialist experience across complex matrimonial, divorce, and Children NI Order matters – including high-profile and sensitive cases – and is respected for her clear, steady, and empathetic approach to supporting clients at defining moments in their lives.

Her appointment reflects Allsopp Campbell Rainey’s recent expansion, following the recent incorporation of Bangor firm Law Quinn and the addition of trainee solicitor Aimee Nelson to its expanding team.

Carla said: “I am delighted to be joining Allsopp Campbell Rainey! I look forward to working alongside a talented team of professionals who share my commitment to providing practical and compassionate legal support.

“Together, I hope we will continue to build on the firm’s excellent reputation. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the firm and to support families across Northern Ireland”.

Founded by partners Neil Allsopp, Andrew Campbell, and Darren Rainey, Allsopp Campbell Rainey has quickly established itself as a dynamic legal practice – known for combining expertise in property, corporate, commercial disputes, and litigation with an accessible, client-first ethos.

The addition of a dedicated family law department marks a key strategic step in broadening the firm’s offering while maintaining the personal, senior-level service clients expect.

Neil Allsopp, Partner at Allsopp Campbell Rainey, said: “Carla is known across the profession for her calm authority, technical strength, and the unwavering support she provides to clients during challenging periods of their lives.

“Her arrival not only elevates our family-law capabilities but reinforces our commitment to building a practice defined by integrity, clarity, and compassion.”

Andrew Campbell, Partner at Allsopp Campbell Rainey, adds: “Carla brings a depth of experience that is rare – not just in the breadth of complex cases she has managed, but in the steadiness and pragmatism she brings to every situation.

“She strengthens our ability to provide clients with holistic, joined-up advice across business, property, and family matters at moments when they need it most.”

Carla joins the firm after leading the family and matrimonial department of a prominent Northern Ireland practice and serving for nearly a decade on the Children (NI) Order Panel, representing families in some of the most sensitive and complex children’s cases.

Darren Rainey, Partner at Allsopp Campbell Rainey, said: “We’re investing in people who raise the bar for our clients, and Carla embodies that approach. Her leadership, her reputation, and her ability to guide clients with both empathy and firm direction make her an exceptional addition. We are delighted to welcome her into the partnership.”
